Native Oregonian, Sarah Wiechec, has always had a natural gift when it comes to taking care of kids.  She worked as a nanny for four years before deciding to attend medical assisting school in 2000 and finished her Bachelors in Science in 2006 in Healthcare Administration. Sarah worked with Dr. Al-Mulla at Legacy Emanuel Pediatric Clinic for two years and helped him open Horizon Pediatrics in May of 2004. 

Sarah and her husband, Ernie got married Summer 2003 and live close to the clinic in Tigard. They have enjoyed expanding their family. Ruby born in 2006, Harlyn in 2008, and Henry in 2010, they are also resource (foster) parents.  Sarah currently has the position of clinic manager but also helps out here and there on the patient care side.  Sarah’s love for children, warm smile, playful nature, compassionate heart, and her ability to communicate with kids of all ages makes visiting Horizon Pediatrics a pleasant experience for the whole family
